Our Story

Dr. Joseph Esposito, AlignLife Co-Founder and CEO, is driven by his desire to help people achieve their best health. He knows that traditional medicine can be a valued partner in chiropractic, but on its own, traditional medicine doesn’t always lead to the best outcome for patients.

His inspiration for chiropractic and natural healthcare comes watching his father’s experience with traditional medicine. His father was prescribed medication for a heart arrhythmia, but a side effect caused issues with his lungs. He couldn’t even climb a flight of stairs. Saving his heart by destroying his lungs was not the answer. He got off that medication and was able to run on the treadmill two weeks later.

His new lifestyle didn’t last long because of a cardiac episode. In the hospital, he was treated with the same drug that was causing the lung issues, but at about 10 times the dosage.

His sister, Dr. Cristina Esposito, AlignLife Co-Founder, researched the drug further and found a study showing it was also causing kidney issues, so he ran back upstairs to talk to the doctor — but their father had died. Kidney failure caused fluid to gather around his heart, and it stopped.

Building a Network

The loss of their father galvanized Dr. Joseph Esposito to build a network of chiropractic natural health centers with Dr. Cristina Esposito, and the AlignLife Franchise Story began. It wasn’t easy, and they learned many lessons the hard way.

They took what they learned and created a system that would help chiropractors to also be successful business owners.
